House Conversion Bath
The remodelling of this Edwardian house in Bath was designed to create an open plan ground floor containing the living, dining and kitchen areas with a glazed rear extension overlooking the canal.
Considerable structural alterations to support the rear walls and roof were required, along with a new reversed open staircase to allow better access to the first and second floors.
Due to the open plan nature through the house, a sprinkler system was installed to give adequate fire protection.
This contemporary intervention in an unlisted Edwardian building produces a new exciting living space close to the city centre.
