Sixth Form Centre. King Henry VIII School

The Sixth Form Centre was built on a site opposite the main School in Warwick Road, Coventry which gives a sense of independence to the Sixth Form.

The building provides a Common Room on most of the first floor with views at the rear over a high level garden to which it has bridge access. There is also a private Study Room with computer facilities and a Kitchen serving the Common Room.

At ground level accessed from Warwick Road is the main entrance with toilets and coat and bag storage. At the rear are two Seminar Rooms and the Sixth Form Office which face a landscaped embankment.

The building materials are red brick and slate to reflect the materials and colours of the main school.

The roof is pyramidal shape with a large rooflight at the apex taking sunlight into the Common Room.

We have also altered and refurbished the Sixth Form Centre at Bablake School Coventry, and refurbished and added an additional floor to Blue Coat C of E School Coventry.
